Easter

What’s not to ❤️LUV❤️ about Easter? Chocolate! Painted eggs! Rebirth! Adorable bunnies!

My oldest kid is a Hare, so you know: anthropomorphic.

I don’t even mind the Jesus stuff. Such a blatant but artless rip-off of the Osiris myth, it’s kind of like looking at a kid’s scribbled crayon drawing of “Nighthawks” or something.

Spring has definitely sprung here in the Hudson River Valley.

I’ve been reading Michael Powell’s incredibly charming autobiography, A Life in the Movies. Crossposted from Dreamwidth.
